First, you are not in the right forum.

Second, if I was you, I would buy a subwoofer if you are only looking for a bass upgrade (instead of changing monitors you already have).

Better loudspeaker and listener placement and LF room treatment may give you a significant "upgrade on the low ends" without changing monitors or adding subwoofer. Or better, if your room is a problem (I strongly believe that it is), new speakers or additional subwoofer can't solve this (EDIT: whatever loudspeaker merchants "promise" you!!!)

HS80M with Acoustic treatment. or just Acoustic treatment. Get a couple corner bass traps and a couple at your first reflection points and you'll notice a big change to your bass.

Right now running the HS50s and an HS10. I think the HS80s are a great choice for your budget. I love my speakers. KRKs arent too bad, but im not sure id mix with them as my only reference. I havent done anything as far as sound treatment yet, but i made the best i could with placement and got good imaging and frequency response. Im happy with my setup.
