No doubt. Although, this build for the contractor isn't really a 'studio' as much as it is just a 20' X 50' addition (with 11' ceilings). I'm sure he could follow schematics if I could supply him with some for the staggered studs, two layer sheetrock, etc., and I KNOW I have to soundproof the control room, or what's the point, right?
For 1000 square feet, his quote comes in at around 54 bucks a square foot, which is pretty good. Just wondered how MUCH more would it take to do the control room properly, as well as the live room walls and ceiling.
