Hi Chaps ,

Started last week the construction of a new live room with in mind to have a larger , more natural reverb , better sounding drum recordings.

I use a room , which used to be a rehearsal room , bad sounding but very sound proofed. It allowed me to rehearsed for years at night without any troubles even if i don't have many neighbors...
I used this room too for recording but since a few years only for close micing.
(guitar cab....)

The rehearsal room is 9 x 5 (meters) and i will extend it by cutting the ceiling so i get access to the rest of the building.
The entire building is 18 x 5 but i can't extend the floor level , so in fact what i will add is a "mezzanine".

The rehearal room will now see the roof 9x5 with almost 7m under ceiling and the mezzanine will also be 9x5 with 3,5 under ceiling.

I m gonna dress the walls and ceilings with wood , like the control room (see pix) and treat the acoustic to fit me the best !
