Home Studio Replace Carpet

OCDaveWilcox Gear maniac Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 221 Thread Starter	Home Studio Replace Carpet I've got a master bed room dedicated to my studio, with acoustic treatments and all, but I've got some stains on the carpet and I want to roll my chair around more easily. What is the best material for the floor? I'd like to get something hard and not carpet, but I don't know if that will cause acoustic issues. Can any one please advise? I think I'd like to go with large tiles of some sort but I'm open to ideas especially affordable ones. Also I'm on the 2nd or rather 3rd flood depending on how you look at it.
