Layout suggestions for 25 sqm practice/recording space

Hello,

I'm searching for a bit of advice with regards to the attached layout.

For all the experts here, what are your feelings with this size of space (25 square meters) about having a separate live room and control room? Do you think it would be better to remove the dividing wall (if possible!) and have one open space? Floor to ceiling is around 2.65 meters.

The performance space must accommodate a Steinway A sized piano (c.190cm long).

There are long windows on the front and one of the sides (see attached) - great for light, but I guess cause some problems, layout wise.

It would be great to hear your layout ideas - any questions, just ask away.

Douglas.

I would go with a one room set up. It will save you money and acoustically be better.
