Thread Starter | Walls for a future Studio
Hi to all, Im completely new in this field so please forgive me if my question is too vague or has been answered before. Im about to start buillding a medium to large home studio and Im completely lost as to how soundproof the walls. I will hire people to do it, but I would like to have a general idea so I can check what they are doing. Are double walls with fiberglass inside effective ? Should I have the walls separated one from the other ? wich way ? Which kind of fiberglass should I use, rigid or fluffy ? Could someone post a drawing or a picture of the walls as you were building ? a note: I bought the book "Home Recording Studio Build It like the Pros" but Im afraid it is too technical for me ... thank you.
