Waterfall before and after treatment

Just added a small collection of GIK panels to my room. The usual spots, corners and mid room points etc. Room dimensions are 24 ft x 12 ft x 8 ft and the floor is carpeted.. Just wanted some expert assistance assimilating the results of the waterfall graphs.

Left monitor - no treatment

Left monitor - with treatment

Right monitor - no treatment

Right monitor - with treatment

Not an expert. I'll just caveat that now. But I am going through my own room treatment now and so I'm familiar with the waterfalls. It looks like you had some improvement in the ringing of 100Hz and above frequencies but no improvement below 100Hz. Also the overall frequency response of the room (minus ringing) didn't change much or at all.

You may need soffit traps for the corners. And you obviously need more trapping to even out the room's response. All of those peaks and valleys aren't good. And this may be just the different resolution of your measurement program but your decay is still around 250ms even in ranges where you don't have ringing. That seems long to me.

I guess probably more and thicker bass traps.

Not much

Small amount of trapping, small effect.
Also the room before treatment doesn't look particularly bad to me, the opposite in fact. Except for the right. Play sines on the R speaker at the frequencies of those modes. Move about and find the hot spots. Put all your bass trapping there.

Straddling panels will do wonders below 100 hz. Not so long ago I did a test in our lab/test room with 8 monsters you can see the results here
Need advice on waterfall!
BTW part of buying our product is you get room consulting for free. The forums are great for DIY guys but we can give you much better advice one on one. I would recommend using the following form so we can get all of your info and go through your room.

Probs

Well done. The Waterfalls look pretty good to me. See if you can fill in that hole around 80Hz by moving listener or speaker positions.
