Using a boxspring for a bass trap???

Not sure if this will work at all, but I have a box spring from a full size bed that i dont use because the bed hurts my back, and its currently sitting up against a wall in the dining room. Anyways I was looking at it and it occured to me that it has a wooden frame alread intact, and I was wondering if I stripped the rest of the crap off it, and stuffed it with proper insulation, am I looking at a possible enormous bass trap? Or just a peice of crap? LOL

I was like.. this is so dumb it just might be genius.. lmao. Feedback please

If this is a terribly dumb idea show mercy and let me down easy.. haha.

I see no reason it would not work. You may find though that after removing the cloth on the front that there is more then you think inside of it. Keep us posted if you do try it.
