Mixing location in new room ????

Hello again guys, so here is a quick run down of the situation.
I'm starting a music course at Uni this year and will be coming down to visit the family on the weekends/any days off. The family is building a new room for me to stay in when I'm down and also as a room for my mixing and production work. I've done a sketch up on google sketch and taken a few measurements and want to know if anyone will give me some advice on placement of my desk and monitors.
Some facts. The room is far from perfect. (I know.) I'm not expecting the acoustics of a professional studio, just something to get the job done. I will be acoustically treating this room.

There are three places as seen on the google sketch up document that I'm thinking of putting the desk and monitors so have a look at the file and take a pick. Room dim: Width=10.5' Length=10.8'

Your room is square which is going to make it pretty hard to get right, but I would set up facing "B" as you would get the best symmetry. You can use the following as a guide for placement.

Thanks for the reply Glenn, I do have one more question however. Is three windows in a room a bad thing?
Will it really limit how I can acoustically treat it ?

Windows can actually help (but sometimes hurt) as the lower frequencies can go through them. If you have a window in a early reflection point then use the panel on a stand.
What Are Early Reflection Points. Acoustic Panels and Bass Traps.
