Thread Starter | Live Room Build Out  Hi All, Thanks in advance for all advice and ideasI have a free standing Large Garage and Workout area that I am converting into a Live Room and Mixing Room I am going to start the build on the live room first and have though about putting in some angled walls. below is a drawing of my thoughts. The measurements are as follows Drums to wall with Door (Width) 295" Length is 305" This ceiling is 114" any ideas or suggestions are appreciated Thanks |

Both of your rooms (I don't have dimensions for the CR, but based on the drawing...) are almost square. Seems you could improve on that a bit. What is the blank space in front of the Control ROom? Neil

Blank space is storage space that I need for garage type stuff it has an overhead door on it as well. So you think I would be better off building the live room smaller and les of a square? Is there a ratio that I'm looking for or just to avoid multiple room nodes |

Here are a few pics of live room. Should be finished in two weeks How much of the ceiling would you guys treat? I was going to hang a large cloud above the drums and another large one equal spaced on the other side of the room |

I've built 15 2'x4' 4" 703 panels and 3 4'x6' 4" panels I was planning on using 1 large panel hung as a cloud above the drums 4" down from ceiling and another large panel hanging on the wall behind the drums The other large panel I was going to hang on the ceiling above the piano opposite the drums . The other smaller panels (2'x4') I was going to place after some room measurements. Does any one see anything that could be improved on for a rock tracking room. |
