It really depends on how thick you plan on making them. For panels 6" or less I would go with 6 pound and as the panel gets thicker you can decrease the density. If you want a good general type then go with 3 pound for everything.

RWA45 is 45kg/m3, is just lower density, which means that is less effective as an absorber
is also cheaper and you get more slabs..

The last part of this statement is definitely not true. Density is not a direct reference to absorptive properties. Less dense material can actually be better at absorbing than higher density. If density were the biggest factor, we'd all just throw concrete in our rooms and call it a day

60kg/m3 is a good density to use if you're building thinner panels (like Glenn suggested) as this will ensure you're using the most out of your width. However, when you're making thicker panels to absorb more bass, lower density is usually recommended.

We need to know certain conditions of your room in order to suggest what would work best for your situation, as everything can change based on that. For example, if you were doing video recording for instructional videos (like someone else who has posted a few threads recently) - it was recommended that normal, fluffy insulation would be best for his needs.

Is the room for tracking live instruments?
Is it for mixing?
Is it a home theater room?
Dimensions?
Have you measured the room with any software to see the frequency response?

This type of info is very useful for people here to recommend you certain products.

Lastly, there are a TON of threads about "what density / what type of insulation" should be used. More than likely, this exact same thread has happened hundreds of times on this forum. If you want to get professional opinions from seasoned veterans, your best bet is to read other threads that have the same questions answered. People like Andre, Rob, Dan, etc don't have time to explain things in detail for every single thread over & over. Their opinions have already been stated multiple times. Not trying to attack you at all - just letting you know that if you want opinions from professionals, try looking for where they've already stated them

edit: Oh and one more thing! There are tons of places that you can get insulation from. You can get it online, or at whatever home improvement stores there are in the UK, but chances are they either won't have what you want, or it will be really expensive. At least in my case in the US, I called a ton of insulation distributors until I found one with great prices that would do personal sales. Very happy that I did because I found some wicked pricing! Its definitely worth an hour of your time to just call around.
