Advice on soundproofing floor

Hey Guys im moving to a new apartment next month and will have a dedicated control room. Its not a big room around 11x14x8 size, im a bit concerned with the tenants below. the good thing is its on the top floor of the building and no walls are shared with anyone besides the floor below.

im not going to produce or mix at loud volumes but still would like to be on a safer side and not be limited to hours of the day.

the floors are parquet and seam to be solid its an older building .

I wanted to know if putting a layer of mlv - cement board - mlv - cement board - carpet basically covering the whole floor from wall to wall would help reducing the transmission down below.

i will have bass traps covering all the corners.

Thanks
Mike

I don't really know much about sound isolation, but I do know enough of acoustics to highly advise you against getting carpet in your control room.
