Building a mixing room...Expert Advice please.

I have the option of moving my studio into this garage:

The room as is, has breeze block walls on the two long sides and brick on the other two sides, not sure what the roof is. I was going to rebrick the window and internal door.

I produce bass heavy music and the room will be for creating and mixing rather than recording

Dimensions are:

Height: 240cm to bottom of beams
Width: 400cm
Length: 656cm

Behind the garage it is residential (someones back garden) and i need to isolate the space as well as possible from the outside.

I am a confident DIY'er and my idea was to build a floating room using the L.W. Sepmeyer ratio so it also sounded good, so the room ended up as

Height: 210cm
Width: 336cm
Length: 489cm

My questions are:

Is this the best way of going about it?

As the floor looks to be poured concrete is there any point in floating the floor?
With the room ending up as the size mentioned there would be air gaps of between 30 and 50cm round the internal room? Is that good?

If i had a budget of £1000 for materials could i pull this off, i have good contacts in regards to getting wood and materials etc. I already have a couple of fire doors that i can use to help.

What sort of isolation could i expect?

Has anyone got a good online plan i could follow to build it if that's what i need?

and again: is this the best way of going about it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dom
