Where to put a control room

I built a home studio over the past year after the studio I worked at shut down. I get very good sounds and I have decent equipment (my mixes are sounding better than the old studio ) The only thing I really miss is having a seperate control soom. I've been thinking about how I can atleast be in a different room with the computer for tracking. at the top of the layout for the room is a wall that shares a wall with a room upstairs. At the bottom is a bathroom and a closet that runs up against the bathroom. on the right there is a hall way that connects the whole house and on the left is a covered car park. In the other picture you can kind of see that the house is a split level three story house connected by a main hallway and you can see the floor on the right has two or three feet within the ceiling of the other room. Now the easiest fix I can think of is to put my computer upstairs and run a snake into the room below, but then I have no visual contact with the musicans. I thought about clearing out the bath room and closet and recording in there but it would be terribly tiny and mixing would be aweful. Would it be possible to build a control room onto the external wall? How expensive would it be. Can anyone think of an easier solution or should I just suck it up
