Advise on Building New rehearsal Studio

Hi All,

i'm from Indonesia.
i am planning to build my rehearsal studio. i dont have a good understanding in building a good budgeted studio.
Can anyone advise me on what are the basic steps to do (including the purpose of doing it) and the materials that needed.

all this long i just understand that the studio need to be sealed.

any advise is apreciated.

I'm pretty close... in Jakarta.

I recommend either contacting a professional or take a couple of years to study the how's and why's.
A good place to start is with the articles here on 'sticky', the articles at RealTraps and GIK. And you are obviously talking about isolation as well... There is much information on my publications page that could be of interest. Also have a look at my recommended reading list.

Hi John,

i've visited your page before you replied my thread actually, i found it very useful.

i'm thinking to build mine just as low as possible for the budget, but not that kind of cheap.. Recalling the one that my friend made when we were in college and opening a studio for the neighbourhood.
