Is this material good?

Hi!
A friend of mine has several square meters of the following material for free:

Dropbox - Photos - Simplify your life

do you think it should be ok to build some absortion panels to put in my control room?
maybe in front and back wall...

No that will not absorb. If you want tack some to a wall, stand in front of it and talk. If you can hear your voice bouncing back at you (I bet you will) then it will prove it does not work.

No, this material is really cheap, but it is not for acoustic purposes.
It can be used for some thermal insulation and/or packing.
