Thread Starter | How to tell if a basement is still humid...
Hey guys- Setting up a studio in my basement. Feels kind of humid. Not really sure how to tell if it's TOO humid- also not sure how bad it is for my gear. Loading in some delicate things, electronically- analog synths, some microphones, Rokit 8's, etc. A little help? |

I used a similar meter when we were having trouble with the CR being too dry. These days they also come in LCD form. |

Mine was in the upper 80s (%), with some pools of water in the corners. I then got a dehumidifier, it's now staying within 55-60%... I know some of my stuff says they are good between 10-90% but I would definitely try to keep it under 70. Humidity + Electronics = Bad
