No, Auralex Space Coupler is simple and periodic construction. For better diffusion we need something more random (apperiodic), like binary (amplitude grating) or QRD (phase grating) design.

EDIT: If you need something that may be also air transparent while it is a Schroeder QRD based diffuser, look for diffusion principles in MyRoom Acoustic Design

Hmm.. that does make sense given how difficult and time consuming it is to make a qrd diffusor.
