Thread Starter | Shall I get rid of roller-shutter boxes? Hello everyone! ![]() I am in the process of building a recording studio above my home residence, which is also under construction. I installed roller-shutters in both control and live room windows, but I am having second thoughts now! ![]() I am afraid that I may have soundproof troubles due to the space inside the roller-shutter boxes (photos attached). It is important to note that I will have double windows in both rooms (aluminium window on the external side and probably wooden window in internal side). In a few words the roller shutter will be rolling up & down between two different windows. Do you believe my concerns for weak insulation due to those boxes is justified? Shall I keep or remove the whole roller-shutter mechanism? Thanks a lot for taking the time to read about my concerns! |
