Please Assist me with treating my studio

hi everyone,
I want to get my room sounding as decent as it can, but am a bit confused how to reach this goal. If someone could assist me in treating the room in the most important spots based on my room would be great. I want to add some bass traps to my room and diffusers, as well as rearrange (if necessary) my current acoustic panels. Im willing to build the traps/and diffusers. I tried to use the waterfall software to make the graph but had difficulty setting up the program. If someone could help advise both how to use the program, as well as where i should treat it would be greatly appreciated I want to ensure what I hear is true!
thanks very much!

room dimensions are aproximately: 7'6" ceiling height at highest point 11"7 width, 21-22' length

It's best if you do some reading (on here) first. Otherwise, we're just repeating ourselves.

Start here:

Acoustics/Treatment Reference Guide - LOOK HERE!

That covers the general stuff, including placement of your panels and the REW program. If you have any more specific questions then make a new thread or ask on this existing thread.

Hi Tom,
thanks for your reply,. i did a lot of reading actually on the link u just posted me. i dont post too to the forum but read it all the time im familiar with the basics so sorry for not being more specific. here;s more specifics i want to build diffusers out of wood, but want to know if there is a specific way i should opt to build it. can i simply stagger random pieces of wood, or is there a better formula to create a more proper diffusion system? secondly, i want to know if i should add bass traps from ceiling to floor instead of my current panels i have there in the corners which are primacoustic 2inch panels. also, just wanted to know if i should place panels perhaps on the ceiling on the left side where the ceiling drops down to eliminate the 90degree angle.
additionally, i tried to use the rew software but was confused how to do so. i tried to use an spl metre i have on my ipad, and a microphone, but was confused how to set up and calibrate properly. is there a manual or walkthrough link you someone could post of how to set up the rew software? i found that the mic input level was low and i needed to turn the gain up on my audio interface very much in order to get a loud enough signal into the program so i feel i must be doing something wrong.
