Where to find these wood panels

I'm looking for a certain type of wood panels for the walls. They look like 4X4's cut in blocks and there all at different levels.

Here is what I'm looking for - Pic of wood uneven panels

Any help is very appreciated

Thanks, but I think you missed the part where i said wood. Those are all foam or plastic, except for the DYI link.
Im only looking for wood ones.

Does anyone know where to buy the wood ones?

I figured showing a link that lists a foam version at $250-$350 a piece for 4 sq. ft. (plus shipping) would sway you to D.I.Y... especially the shipping aspect of the weight of a wooden version.

Devising plans is rather simple using this calculator:

QRDude: Quadratic Residue Diffuser calculator

If nothing else, you could contact a local woodworker. Save shipping and help support local economy. Win/Win.

Yea, i understand. The room is 14' by 26' and Im going to be doing both 26' walls with this, so it covers every other 4' and in bween each i will have conring 705 covered with burlap. and some stone..

So i probably need 16 to 20 panels, if there 4'x4'

A local wood worker is a great idea. Ill look into that
Thanks

Yes they can be done in foam or wood. Just depends on what you are looking for. We also have both
GIK Acoustics. Acoustic Panels and Bass Traps.
GIK GridFusor. GIK Acoustics. Acoustic Panels and Bass Traps.

Good ol' CJ from the Cakewalk forums.

I'm really surprised that an expert mastering engineer didn't know the name "diffusor".

Actually, I'm not very surprised at all...
