I recieved a pmail which included:
Quote:
I've seen many of your posts on GS and I thought you'd be the man to ask; how can I learn the principles of acoustics as they apply to studio construction/treatment? Are there any books you'd recommend?
Thank you for the complement. AS pmail your request makes no sense, as other people would not benefit from the response.
At the top of this forum is a sticky reference section acoustics treatment reference guide look here. Post one section eight is Suggested Reading. All of the texts there, plus Marshall: Architectural Acoustics. Add to that, (free) Rose: Guide To Acoustic Practice from my linked page. Some of those texts seem expensive, but they are not because they are worth it.

After that, enjoy my links, and ask for more specifics.

Enjoy.

Andre
