Got a room - where to place the gear

Hey there,

I have built a room in a warehouse in an industrial zoned area.

Unfortunately I had to build it on a specially constructed mezzanine level so internally the sound will never be completely isolated but I can live with that.

It has been treated with acoustic foam and sounds great as a live room - I've had a few jams in there.

I want to put in a 24 channel mixer, DAW controller and a PC back end. I want to record live sessions with 4/5 piece rock bands.

I would be really grateful of some suggestions as to gear placement i.e. where should I place the desk, drums, amps etc? Should I set up a dead space for vocals?

Please have a look at the diagram attached. For those who think in imperial the main room is 20.13' by 14.26'. The storage area is 5.13' wide

No suggestions at all? Noone wants to tell me where I can stick my gear?
