Need help with cooling. Whats the smallest mini split available?

I've got detached garage that requires about 7000-8000 btus, and I'd like to use a mini split system. From what I've found, the smallest systems available seem to be 9000 btus and start around 750$.

I read that if use an AC with a higher BTU rating than what you need, it wont adequately dehumidify the room. I live on Long island NY, and it gets super humid in the summer so this is a bit of a worry for me.

Do you think I'd be alright with a 9000 unit? the room is 13.6 x 21.4 feet, with vaulted ceiling coming to a 15 foot peak. ( I read that you need 10% more with high ceilings.)

I also kind of need to make a decision by the end of the week, It needs to be installed next weekend.

I'd appreciate any info, or any stories people have about using these systems. Are they really worth the extra cost?

does anyone know any of these brands are decent? I cant really afford a mr. slim

I'd probably go with the LG, just because I've never heard of any of the others.

thanks.

Just curious on what system you ended up going with. How's the noise level? I've been doing a little research for my own room and it seems that the LG systems are the quietest.
