Is there a website or a program that you can enter in your room dimensions, and place your speaker/monitors in the room, it will show you where the best places to place acoustical treatments?

maybe like a 2d/3d room emulator where you can move monitors around inside, and it dynamically tells you where the best spots to place certain treatments?

i'm not an expert, but we won't need experts if there was a software like that, so...the answer is no!

there are websites which give you some tools but nothing like that

Room Optimiser

I don't have personal experience but a trusted friend acoustician has given a thumbs up to RPG's Room Optimiser software.

That would do the room dimensions and where to put the speakers and listener. Not the treatment.

The room treatment prescriptions at RealTraps and GIK kinda apply to all rooms. More sophisticated LF traps would do a better job than simple fibre. RPG cover that. Inject some RPG or serious DIY into the generic wisdom and you should have a good shot. Or hire a pro!

Check out CARA CAD

CARA - Computer Aided Room Acoustics (English)
  • determination of the basic acoustic properties of the room (Acoustic Ambiance) in combination with suggestions regarding the furnishings (wall materials, furniture) in order to linearize the reverberation time spectrum
  • automatic Positional Optimization for the loudspeakers and the listener to minimize sound wave interferences (standing waves) in the listening area.

Actually most acoustic companies will provide that service. See the following.
GIK Acoustics: Room Setup

As far as a program, there are ones out there that will give you a general idea, but keep in mind that no program can actually take into account all the things about your room. You are always best to start with the general layout (see above layout) and measure to fine tune.
