Monitor budget is £1200.. can someone help?

Hi All,

I have a budget of £1200 for two studio monitors, I'm moving house and will have a spare room and I'm amazed my wonderful girlfriend has a agreed for me to make it a "synth room / studio". Still pinching myself.

The music I make is dance orientated I suppose.. so Kicks and Bass lines are quite important.

Any advice is gratefully received..!

I'm sure I'll be back posting a room overview in the next month too to get advice on damping/proofing

i think you got the wrong forum... but since you're here...

if it were me, the checkout cart will look like the attached pic. take it out to play at parties or put it in the room and tear the walls out @ 115 dB SPL. Maybe girlfriend will leave you... then you can have the whole house for a studio!
