Thread Starter | Nutty i-lok question?
Hi all, 4 weeks later, I'm almost finally ready to turn things back on. My nutty i-lok question. I have a usb hub with a couple i-loks in it. It was located on my megalithic work surface. Ideally, I guess the i-loks should be located by the computer but they're in the hub by the work station. I stuck the hub behind the speakers, and am wondering will the base that is generated from the speakers effect the circuitry of the i-lok. I instead put it down low to one side of the front of a speaker. Will the bass from the speaker (in rear) or sound from front of speakers effect the integrity of an i-lok? Nutty but wondering. thanks, Rich One more quick question. In fumbling around learning about these acoustic things, one of my kids asked if color effects sound. I can't definitively say no. Yes or No? |

As far as the bass, if you pick them up in your hand and shake them, you are exposing them to orders of magnitude greater force. Does that affect them? I would be more worried about any magnetic (B) field generated by the speakers affecting the keys. |
