Best monitoring position in a small room with corner window

Hi folks,

The only room I can dedicate to be my studio at home is a small boxy room. The issue with the room is that it features a corner window and a glossy sided door in the other corner.

I have attached some rough drawings with the measurements.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to advise me on which way I should be monitoring from in the room (please see both drawings to see what I mean)

Drawing one: This is my original set-up when I moved all my gear in here. I know it's best to point your monitors down the longest part of the room, but if I have the monitors in this position as shown in this picture I know I can apply diffusion and equally spaced absorption / bass traps

Drawing two: (speakers pointing down the longer side of the room)
I don't like the idea of having a monitor so close to a corner window and also have the potential issue of having a reflective door behind me (so I will be able to put no diffusion etc up)

I currently have Dynaudio BM5's but am hoping to upgrade to some BM6A's Mk1 - I am waiting on suggestions from anyone on here as to which monitor position is best and the purchase of some BM6A's before I test the room and apply my own absorption panels (which I have started to make)

Bit of a long winded post, but I hope you will be able to help!

Cheers!

?

In the node of every other axial mode in at least X and Y dimension, and also extremely likely to cause severe SBIR related problems?
