Thread Starter | Spiral Stairs....
I have been offered a random space in a country manor using the massive spiral stair case as a place to record. Aesthetically it looks great as every member is either slightly higher or lower then each other. Am I barking mad to even begin to try and acoustically treat the space? Not sure if its good idea... would love your thoughts...

So wait... you're recording...on the stairs???? How big are these stairs exactly? I was picturing a room containing a spiral staircase ala Electrical Audio, but from your description, I'm confused. You got any pictures?

Yeah its as mad as it sounds, ill try and get some pictures up. They are bigger than normal steps. It more like, steps down, a short walkway, steps down, a short walkway etc as opposed to a constant tight spiral Its at the home of a guy who used to push loads of records for 'Beggars Banquet' etc who has had a crazy vision for a studio space....and the rent is free if it can be done.... |

[EDIT] The spiral project is too ambitious.
