Should I choose the room with the parquet floor for my project studio?

Just moved to a new house and need to pick a room for my project studio.
All of the rooms built the same and about the same size.

One of the rooms has a parquet floor, I mean a regular floor with ceramics and all but with a layer of parquet wood on top of it.
Should I choose this room over the others? Is it a good starting point for a mixing room over the other rooms?
I'm planning to treat the room more than that of course, just asking whether that's an advantage or not.

Thanks

Without knowing the size of the room, or if it's for mixing or recording, it's impossible to guess what floor surface is best. Generally, wood sounds about the same as any other reflective floor surface. More here:

+1 to everything written above.

Have I told you lately Ethan how easy it is to follow up your posts?

Loquaciously,

+1 to that, Ethan mentioned carpet lately in terms of mix room.
Chances are you will want some floor absorption in your mix room, in which case you may end up with area rugs or carpet. Seems a shame to waste parquet under that. Especially when it sounds so good for tracking ;-)
When you say 'about' the same size it prompts me to suggest that you
try some Room Mode Calculators to find the predicted best size. Some reckon even a couple of inches can make all the difference....:-)
