Thread Starter | MMA Closed Cell Foam Mats For Soundproofing
I received some leftover MMA mats. The dimensions are 3'3"x6'3"x1" thick. The top of the surface has vinyl and the bottom is created from the closed cell foam material. I was thinking of applying them on my walls. Would they help any for soundproofing? If so, is there a proper way to install them? I want to say they weigh about 35 lbs. Here is a link to the MMA mats: Swain Sports Mats - MMA Mats, Martial Arts Mats, and Home Mats Thanks. |

Thanks. Didn't want to put them up if they were useless.

Yeah... but they're great if you have to get down on your knees in the garden. Or in the garage at the work bench.. makes it easy on your feet... same in the kitchen if you have a hard tiled floor. ![]() Cheers, John |
