frequency of barking dog

so if im going to build to keep sound out....... WTF are frequency of barking dogs! big prob in my area

I suspect that a Saint Bernard would have a different frequency range than a Chihuahua!

Yeah, if you do soundproofing, it should act to keep ALL sound out! Wouldn't worry about tuning it to keep certain frequencies out.

Now, treating the sound INside the room... that's another matter! (sound Treatment)

I'd say they're up in the low midrange somewhere...or between there are the higher midrange in the case of annoying little dogs. It wouldn't take much extra mass to keep that kind of stuff out.
