Thanks Jeff. If there´s something I really trust are my ears. The thing is I don´t have the reference as to how a well treated room must sound and my crappy speakers wont do me much good.

As I was telling Glenn, down here the general concept of "good acoustics" in room treatment comes from deadening out the room by carpetting the heck out of it.

I used to think it was that easy, until I bumped into pictures of REAL practice rooms and recording studios. Then I landed on this page and the headache began, but at least I know I'm on the right track.

I'll add an extra 2" to the mineral wool panels at the back. Place a couple on the ceiling/wall corners. and one more, next to each of the foam Panels at the early reflection points.

I read LFs were chaotic, just had no idea of how much.

Back to the sawing then.

I also have a pillow on my chair. It damps the strings on my Guild and soften the broad peaks I measured earlier.
