Small room acoustic problems

So I've built my tiny project studio. It basically ended up as a small room that could be a walkin closet off of a basment bedroom. My kids have taken over my big room for there toys :( So after building it and putting all the gear in place and doing some listening I've discovered I have some acoustic problems. When I'm at my mix position I get a cancellation in the low end (I know general term). It's like a comb filtering effect. When I move to the back of the room the low end is there. I've put up a few auralex foam panels to cut the early reflections from the side walls. Do I need some kind of bass traps? I was thinking I could put one on the door. Am I getting cancellation because the bass frequencies are clashing at my mix position. I've including a terrible drawing of the dimensions of the room. Thanks for all your help. Cheers.

I'd love to help, but man...that image is really, really small. I'm going to go blind trying to read it.

The bass cancellations are not the least bit surprising, and it a room that small and square they're going to be severe. Here are some general tips to get you started:

• Make sure you setup so that you’re firing down the longest dimension of the room.
• Your head should be placed 38% of the way into the room, centered between the left and right walls
• Your head should also be located at the tip of an equilateral triangle with your speakers.
• Use at least 4” bass trapping in all the corners, floor to ceiling if possible.
• Use 4” or 6” bass traps on the back wall; the thicker the better basically.
• Use 4” panels behind the speakers on the front wall
• The reflection points to the right, left and above your head can be treated with 4” panels.
