measuring

I'm having trouble measuring my room.
Using the Room Eq wizard and the EFT. no one recognizes my mic Im using.
Get no signal...

Anyone?

Did you look in REW's setup where you select the input to record from?

It may be that some interfaces don't present themselves to Windows in a totally standard way. I've heard of pro interfaces sometimes not working with REW and ETF. Do you have a cheap or on-board sound card? Even cheap sound cards are fine for room measuring.
