Abbey Road Gobos- Ethan and all, what do you think?

I'm looking to deaden the sound in a large wood floored tracking room by surrounding the vocalist with 3 panels behind them and 3 in front of them.

I wanted to base it off of the Abbey Road plans that are attached.

What do you think of their effectiveness?

I was going to build them without the clear perspex windows, and filled with 703. Is it worth having perforated hardboard for the absorptive side and Formica on the other?

What do you think Ethan? Glenn? George Martin?

Thanks for all your insights!

Lightbulb

Anything that absorbs and blocks sound will work if it's large enough. I sell the gobos shown below, so of course I'm biased.
