So which room should I use?

I've got two rooms available for mixing in my house and would like to know which one would be best suited for this.

One room is 7' x 16', the other is 12' x 16'. Both are in the basement and have 7' ceilings. From what I've read here on GS bigger is generally better, but cubes are bad...so obviously the smaller room is much less like a cube in this case.

Thanks in advance!

I would go with the second,
A larger room means more available space for treatment ,an option to sit futher back from the from wall ,have more space to record if later needed.

Ahhh...because of the the 7' ceiling, I suppose. Wasn't thinking 3 dimensionally.

Yeah, use the bigger room. 7' dimension aside, the other two aren't too bad.
