Thread Starter | HEAT Does anyone have any bright ideas for heating my live room? It's 16 feet tall so it can be tough to keep heat on the floor. During the winter it is absolutely freezing. My toes and fingers can sometimes go numb if I leave it to the in house heat to do the work. As I type, there are 3 electric heaters in there and it's still pretty damn cold. I'm pretty sure that normal electric baseboard makes click noises? what do you guys use?

| I'm normally trying to get rid of heat... not keep it in ![]() Get a Mesa Boogie amp and leave it turned on.. they produce sooo much heat :-) you could always get a storage heater. They come on at night and you'll use cheap electricity and your proofing will keep the heat in for the rest of the day as it slowly releases from the SH. The best thing to do is get advice from an electrician who can advise you on the state of play with electronics and dirty signals.. You may be able to get access to a plug on a different phase than your lighting.. and besides.. I doubt a heater will be allowed on during a take anyway... |

| got any renovation plans? radiant heated floor would be the best way to go. maybe there is some sort of tile / riser system that you could retrofit easily? |
