Really WEIRD WEIRD room shape!

I know some rooms are not perfect, but I think mine is a real winner. I searched and found some similars but nothing like mine. I tried a little drawing to make it easier for you guys to visualize the "shape" of my problem. Nothing I read about non rectangle rooms talked about a weird shape like my room has. The question is: How do I work it out? Do I have to make it rectangle? I would lose a lot of space. I don´t mind having to fix it and move things around, I just want to know if it´s going to be worth it. I just bought some acoustic foam and I am starting on a new vocal booth. Just need to know where to put things acordingly to the right positioning of my gear. Don´t need to tell me about my monitors position...I know they are way out of place. Will work on that too. I know it´s a lot to ask...but I really need to hear from people who know what they´re talking. Thanks a lot!

Cheers from Brasil!

That shape is okay, but you'd do better to turn the setup around so the room gets wider in the rear rather than narrower. If that's not possible, just treat as usual with as many bass traps as possible, plus absorbers at the reflection points.

Thanks again Ethan.

I think you got the drawing wrong. I do have the monitors on the narrow side of the room, what I have behind the drums are just speakers for listening and/or practicing. I have my monitors close to the water tank, and "too close" to the right wall of the room. That is also a main concern, cause I know they should be equaly distanced from the walls. I just don´t know if I should just put them in the middle of the room and lose all my free space. That´s what´s bugging me about this weird shaped room...nothing is equal/equivalent. Above the water tank there´s also a "free" area wich I don´t know what could do to the sound of my monitors and of my band´s gear.

*the water tank is inside a concrete environment (almost a square figure).

You won't have to make it a rectangle. I'd just treat it like normal (corners, back and front wall with bass trapping, reflection points with high frequency panels or bass trapping) and go from there. You may have to deal with some oddities, but you won't know until the basics are covered anyway.
