Pretty much the picture speaks for itself... also... its hard wood floors.. keep that in mind I Will probably be putting in a small sofa in the room or a futon.. I have a bunch of 2'X2' frames and a few 4' X 2' frames (1"X2" 's put together) 703 inbetween and material holding it in... On top of that ... I have like 10 1'X1'X1' acoustic foam blocks... Thats what I have to work with.. was just looking for advice to set this up and make it the best sounding room possible... thanks in advance for all the slutz with help holla |

| The usual tactics apply. All rooms need: * Broadband (not tuned) bass traps straddling as many corners as you can manage, including the wall-ceiling corners. More bass traps on the rear wall behind helps even further. You simply cannot have too much bass trapping. Real bass trapping, that is - thin foam and thin fiberglass don't work to a low enough frequency. * Mid/high frequency absorption at the first reflection points on the side walls and ceiling. * Some additional amount of mid/high absorption and/or diffusion on any large areas of bare parallel surfaces, such as opposing walls or the ceiling if the floor is reflective. Diffusion on the rear wall behind you is also useful in larger rooms. --Ethan
