Help needed studio treatment!

Hello everyone!
I am new, so have couple questions for you!
Can i actually do my mixes in not treated room?
Is it possible do mix hit records if you don't have any kind of treatment?
I really don't think you need to put a lot of stuff in your room, it can do bad to your mixes.

Acoustics treatment??? naaaaaaaaaa just go buy the monitors that cost above $4000.00 and you should be set.

All kidding aside, yes you can mix in a non treated room, but the real question is why would you?? You can also mix with $10.00 speakers.

Yes, but it's a lot easier and faster to create great mixes when you can hear accurately. Otherwise you're always guessing if the mix is right, burning CDs to check in the car, and so forth. This introduction to acoustic treatment explains the basics:

Yes you can, but they will never sound professional. The room you are in limits your listening and you will spend a lot of time trying to understand the sound you must get in your room in order to sound correctly in other spaces.

Acoustical treatment of small spaces is simple to do: bass traps, first point reflections and maybe some diffusion.

Acoustical kits will improve the acoustics of your room. If you don't have money to build your own studio, they are definitely the way to go. But keep in mind that a professional studio is another level
