Drum room

Hi, Im looking for a new studio
what would be the smallest acceptable
drum room to yield a decent ambient sound?

What should be an acceptable ceiling height
and Length X Width of the room?

thanks in advance

That's a can of worms right there. There are a whole lot of varying opinions, but something like 23'Wx37'Lx13H would be great *as long as the geometry is acoustically sound and surface composition is good*. Obviously a room that size with concrete floors and metal walls/ceiling is not the equivalent of the same size room custom built for the purpose.

Again, there are lots of opinions here. You could probably go considerably smaller if you plan carefully.

I would agree, just so large enough.
