Help treating room for acoustics

Below are the measurements of my new room. There are no windows except there is a set of sliding Plexiglas doors that lead to the balcony. The large closet will act as a voice recording room but I am not interested in treating that as of now. I am looking to find the most beneficial placement for my mixing desk which is about 48" wide. I need room to place a full bed in the room as well. I am new to acoustics and am hoping someone can give me some advice as to how they would set this room up, acoustic treatment, and anything else I might be overlooking. Can you give me some hints on what to listen for. Also keep in mind I will want to expand my set up so the total width of my desk may increase to include a rack and a dj set up. Thanks in advance.

Your best bet will be to face the lower 11' wall and straddle bass traps in as many corners as possible. Because of the doors you many end up wanting to mount the panels on stands for the corners. From there treat early reflection points of the room.

See the following page for some ideas on set up. GIK Acoustics: Room Setup

Honestly your not going to get the isolation you need and closets sound horrible, so stick to treating the room and record voc in there.

Thanks for the advice. I will take it into consideration. I am however worried that the distance between each door will not lend itself to my expanding gear set up. What about facing the 18' wall? Any objections or concerns?
