703C in drop ceiling grids

I have a bunch of 703C left over from my bass trap build and I was thinking of covering it with fabric and replacing the rear half of my studio drop ceiling panels with it. I already have a cloud above mix point. I was thinking this might be a better idea than just throwing it up above the drop ceiling tiles. My ceiling is low (7 feet) I'm not sure if this effects the placement.

Thoughts.........

Sure, but I would check to make sure that the drop ceiling panels are not rigid fiberglass already.

No, they are the rigid type. There are actually double up in each grid. Do I gain any advantage by replacing them with the 703 wrapped in fabric.

Probably, at least near the front of the room. Most fiberglass ceiling tiles have a plastic facing that is reflective. So that type is not good at reflection points.

I believe he pointed out that these are going in the back of the room, but yes you do not want to use them in early reflection areas.
