Exclamation Control room costruction in a loft..

Hi everyone is reading, i'm new to this place for slutz like me..

I would like to drive your attention to my problem, i'm building a control room in my loft (still under costruction, so better do some action now)..

the problem is the roof! it is no symmetric at all..

my english isn't the best.. so i uploaded a video that you can watch here..

YouTube - control room under construction

after you watched the video.. the question is.. will this space into the roof (for the door but not the door to get into the room) give troubles for acoustics?

any help would appreciated!! thanx in advance

I can't tell what's where in that video, but I have some general advice:

A ceiling that rises from low in the front to higher in the rear is good. But if the ceiling is higher at one side than the other, the best solution is to hang a cloud over the front part of the room making it parallel to the floor. Which orientation you choose depends on which dimension is longer. That is, the speakers should fire the longer way down the room. More here:

This is simple. Face the door to the balcony, so the speakers are firing the long way down the room toward where it gets higher. I can;t tell what the red thing is, but a cloud over your head will help.

It is a recess, or slot, or anti-soffit for access to the door. The short wall is only 5'9" high.

Show the exact location of it. It is a 20' wide wall for SI ignorant. We can give informed advice then.

It's against the norm, but put the speakers on the high peak wall. At least you have some left/right symmetry.

update with some fresh pics! so the best way to solve the problem is to flip 180° the stereo image to the highest wall ???

and another thing..
i was thinking to add a small vocal booth, taking a little space from the "free area"... any suggestions here??

NOTE: still no insulation, drywall, bass traps ecc.. so any help will be appreciated!
