Cant constuct anything new so this is my plan. What ya think

I have a live room 16X9X9.5 that is very quiet but not soundproof. Does soundproof even exist? Anyways, I realized my weakest points: The whole room. Therefore, since I cant tear anything down I am buying a shit load of green glue, PSA 1/8'' limp vinyl sound barrier, and wall paneling. I am going to attach the vinyl barrier to the wall paneling then spread green glue on the vinyl barrier and install it on the walls in my room with finishing nails. I am excited that my SOny c800g will have a happy and dead quiet environment to record in. What do yall think? I mean green glue out performs MLV in all aspects and I figure that using both in conjucting with each other, I cant lose!

I think you should call Ted White at the Green Glue company and run your plan past him.

MLV is not cost effective in this application. Put in extra layers of drywall.
