Rubber floor underlay - Ribbed versus Flat

Hi all.
I was recommended this product:
Quiet Floor NP Noise Control Flooring Underlayment

But I'm having a hard time finding something similar in New Zealand. I can't import this stuff it's just far too heavy and expensive to ship.

I realise the advantage of having the ribbing to reduce the amount of contact between the surfaces, but how much performance would I be losing from using flat rubber if I can't locate suitable ribbed stuff?

Also if anyone lives in New Zealand or Australia and is aware of any manufacturers or distributors of an appropriate product please post their details!

Thanks!

This is an option I have that's made locally.
BURGESS MATTING

It's only 6mm thick, so I'm thinking of having 2 layers of it (on top of that goes 25 mmm MDF, then another underlay, then finishing surface). If I used 2 layers of the Abzorba do I need to glue it together? I'm guessing that the weight of the layers above it will be sufficient?
