| Control rooms in Alton Everest's book Nearly every control room displayed in Alton Everest's - Master handbook of Acoustics, seems to have the speakers shooting into the short side of the room. Why?

| Two reasons. 1) the control rooms are large enough that rear wall relections can be treated with diffusion; and, 2) those big things called mixing consoles. Andre |

| Right, recording "studios" today are very different than 40+ years ago. Small rooms have very different requirements than large rooms. --Ethan
