Thread Starter | diffusion locations and layout questions.
right now my room is 21Lx15Wx9H in the front of the room, there is an alcove that i walled off.. i lost a buncha space so i could have symmetry. in the rear of the room, i have a wall of basstrapping, and 4'x4' of skylines. there is a nice big window in the front that i dont want to lose. Buttttt. i kinda want to get that space back so i can have a bit more room for some seating, misc, etc... i was thinking about flipping the room 180deg, so i could have the first 2/3 of the room be symmetrical, and in the rear, i could use the extra 30sqft or so for seating, etc. but if i flip the room around, my concern is that the diffusion that i built with the skylines will be gone if i keep the window. OK, now for the question: is it worth trying to regain some space by flipping the layout 180deg, or can i put the skylines to use without losing the window? here is terrible drawing of my room. (i have a 4x4 cloud above the console) (black stuff is the OC703 (4" worth with air-gap, and 6" worth on the rear) |
