stands for panels?

may be a dumb question, but could you connect any panels to stands? how would you secure them to the stands?

There are many ways. Depending on how thick/heavy the panels are, you might be able to use mic stands. If they are thicker, then you'd need to fabricate something. You can build stands into the panel itself by framing the panel in 1x4, 5.5-6' tall for a 2x4 panel. Then frame out the bottom so that it sits level.

The simple answer is YES! How are your panels made?

Well. They're not yet. I'm looking at panels from different companies right now. Some on the top of the list are from ....GIK believe it or not

I'm more concerned on how you would attach the panel to the stand if you did use a mic or cymbal stand.

Bottom line is I need some absorption...BAD. And it needs to be mobile. I'll be moving it all over the room all the time for diff instruments.

Our stands basically bolt to the back of the panel. Here is a picture of the GIK 242 Elite on the stand. Note that they come in blond, cherry, brown stain, or we can paint them black.

As far as putting it on a mic stand, I guess you could rig something up, but with the weight I would be a little worried.

If you decide to go the DIY route (as I did), I discovered that one of IKEA's shelving units works very nicely as a stand, just screw it into the base of your panel instead of a wall:
